Enrique Leao

Enrique is a Brazilian DJ and Producer currently based in Sarasota Florida. When he was 13 years old, his Uncle, also a DJ brought him to tag along while he Played a party in Salvador, Brazil. At that moment Enrique experiences first hand the power that music had on people and how his uncle controlled the tension in the room instantly grabbed his attention.  

In 2013 he discovered Minimal Techno and instantly fell in love with the unusual rhythms and sounds this music has. Enrique got his first job in order to buy his first mixer, where out of pure curiosity he though him self how to beat match and properly equalize tracks. 

In 2018 Enrique was one out of 10 producers who were chosen to advance to the next phase of the BeatPort X Circus Recordings “BEATS IN SCHOOL” Producer Competition.  

Fast Forward to 2019 Enrique has played in hundreds of events in various cities of Florida including Sarasota, Tampa, St. Petersburg and Miami. Including Night Clubs such as Clasico, Jackson’s, Ichicoro Ane, Do Not Sit on The Furniture and many more. 

Besides His Solo performance he is also half of the Dj DUO, DEFINE RHYTHM where he produces music under, as well as his affiliation with SRQ BEATS where he plans on expanding his career even further through Music and Event Production.
